When 4 months pregnant with my second child I had such lower back pain I could barely move. After
seeing Maryann, talking through my history, and discussing my current pregnancy and pain she
explained what was happening and how she would work on it. After just 2 visits and performing my at
home stretches she gave me the pain was relieved and I was able to resume my normal activities.

I first began receiving treatment at Orthomed when I was 28 weeks pregnant. At the time of my first
session I was experiencing neck pain that was intolerable. The pain went all the way from my neck
into my R shoulder. Sitting and sleeping was near impossible! I was barely managing to continue my
full time job and care for my two year old son when My Dr. suggested that I find a skilled therapist who
specialized in prenatal massage to see if it could make me more comfortable. To my amazement after
my first session I was finally able to sleep throughout the night without waking up in pain! Now I
continue to see Maryann for maintenance sessions. I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl.
Although life is extremely busy I have been able to stay in good shape with regular visits to Orthomed.
I would recommend her to anyone suffering pain during or after their pregnancy. It has made a huge
